Ship Unloading and Loading Process at Exir Shimi Terminal
Step 1: Docking and Pipeline Connection
- Upon arrival at docks P3 and P4, ships are guided by operational experts to dock in the correct position.
- Pipelines are connected to the ship’s inlet and outlet systems, and necessary tests are conducted to ensure there are no leaks and that pressure levels are optimal.
Step 2: Commencement of Unloading or Loading
- After safety approval, the unloading of materials from the ship to storage tanks or loading from storage tanks to the ship begins.
- Automated monitoring systems continuously track flow rate, pressure, and temperature to ensure an optimal and safe process.
Step 3: Completion of Operations and Pipeline Disconnection
