Upon Arrival at the Terminal
Upon arrival at Exir Chemical Terminal, and after ensuring that the necessary customs and inspection procedures for unloading/loading your tanker have been completed, please proceed to the security checkpoint at the terminal entrance with your required documents, including:
- National ID card, passport, or driver’s license
- Loading permit/CMR
Submitting these documents is mandatory for registration in the queue management system.
Please collect, read, and sign the Driver Safety Commitment Form from the Security Unit. If you have any questions regarding any section of the form, the Security and Safety Unit staff are available to assist you.
You can download the Safety Commitment Form in 📥 PDF format.
- Important Notice:
To maintain order and security within the terminal, including for employees and drivers, a monitoring and violation recording system is in place. Violations may be recorded through intelligent CCTV cameras or reports from authorized personnel.
Negative points will be registered in the system for any of the following violations:
- Failure to comply with safety regulations
- Bringing unauthorized or hazardous items into the terminal
- Neglecting open discharge valves or chemical leaks
- Insulting or engaging in conflict with staff or other drivers
- Offering or accepting gratuities (tips or bribes)
Individuals committing violations may face penalties, including delays in scheduling for a set period or permanent denial of services in this or future visits.
- Important Notice:
Our staff is committed to providing the best possible service to drivers. If you encounter any issues in this regard, you may report them to terminal management or security or notify us through our online feedback system.
Insulting or engaging in physical altercations with terminal staff is strictly unacceptable. In such cases, the offending individual will be denied service, and legal action may be pursued if necessary.
- Important Notice:
If any damage occurs to equipment or facilities due to driver negligence or a tanker malfunction, the loading/unloading operation will be halted, and the damages must be compensated before proceeding.
Entry Scheduling
Entry scheduling for drivers is conducted fairly based on the time of document submission to the security unit or, if an alternative queue system is in place (e.g., a queue number on the loading permit), according to that system.
The queue system operates without discrimination based on ethnicity, nationality, extra payments, personal relationships, or any similar factors.
Your turn will be notified via SMS, so please ensure that your mobile phone number is correctly registered with the security staff.
Important Notice:
Incoming tankers at the terminal carry different types of goods and are assigned to different storage tanks. Therefore, a tanker that arrives after you may be allowed entry earlier if its designated tank is available while yours is full, or if the corresponding unloading/loading station is occupied.
Despite these explanations, if you believe your entry has been unfairly delayed, you can check your SMS notifications, use the online information system, or inquire with the security unit for the latest status. If an issue persists, you may report it to the security unit or submit feedback via the company’s online survey system.
Entry
Upon entering the terminal, you must hand over prohibited fire-hazardous items such as mobile phones, lighters, matches, portable gas cylinders, and any other flammable objects to the security unit. These items will be stored in a designated box under your name and returned to you upon exit.
To enhance the speed and accuracy of our services, a numbered RFID card will be provided to you upon entering the terminal. Please take good care of this card, as it is required for all procedures within the terminal, including weighing, unloading, loading, and more. In case of loss, a replacement fee of 5,000,000 IRR will be charged. Please ensure that your card is not exchanged or mixed up with another driver’s card.”
Weighing
- Ensure your vehicle is properly positioned on the weighbridge and does not come into contact with safety barriers or weighing equipment.
- Do not discard any materials, including tanker contents, water, ice, stones, etc., within the terminal area. The entire facility is monitored by CCTV cameras, and any violations will result in:
- Negative points in your record
- A cleaning fee
- Possible deductions from the recorded weight of your cargo as determined by the responsible official.
If prior arrangements have been made with the cargo owner, your customs weighing can be conducted at the terminal weighbridge instead of the Special Economic Zone weighbridge. This will eliminate the need to queue at the customs weighbridge upon entry and exit. Please contact the security unit for further details about your status.
- Important Notice:
All operations, including customs weighing, are completely free of charge for drivers at Exir Chemical Terminal. Please refrain from offering any payments under any circumstances, such as tips or holiday gifts.
If any payment is observed, both the payer and the recipient will face disciplinary action.
Emergencies
Please report any accident and violation to the terminal authorities. In case of declaring an emergency, act calmly in accordance with the instructions of the terminal authorities.
